Featuring an open bottom, the planter allows for efficient drainage of excess water, preventing waterlogging. The design also promotes healthy plant growth by letting roots extend freely into the soil for better nutrient absorption. 

The Altamura is not rusted yet and has a normal metal color when you receive it, but rust will develop over time. You can speed up the rusting process by spraying it with soapy water or salt water. To keep your clothes stain-free, avoid contact with the developing rust layer. This planter does not include a bottom.
